IMU CET 2025 Exam Notification is expected to be released in March 2025. Indian Maritime University is the conducting authority of IMU CET. Admission to eligible candidates is offered into various UG & PG courses i.e. B.Tech., B.Sc., M.Tech., BBA, M.Sc.
Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a university level test conducted once a year. Students interested in pursuing degree in maritime studies in IMU widely opt for this exam. Application form will be released in third week of March 2025 through online mode.

IMU CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech. Courses:
Qualification: Those passed candidates in class 12th level or equivalent exam from any recognized board will be eligible to apply.
Marks: At least 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English subjects in qualifying exam will apply for exam.
Subjects: Applicants with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as a compulsory subject will be eligible to apply.
Age Limit: To apply for exam, age of candidates must be 25 years to 28 years for male (30 years for SC/ ST). For female 27 years to 30 years will be required (32 years for SC/ ST category)
Appearing: Those appearing candidates in class 12th level will also be eligible to apply for exam.
For B.Sc. Courses:
Qualification: Passed candidates in class 12th level or equivalent from any recognized board will be eligible to apply.
Marks: Candidates with 60% marks in PCM subject and 50% marks in English will be eligible to apply for exam.
Relaxation: 5% of relaxation will be given in English marks to eligible candidates.
For MBA Courses:
Educational Qualification: Candidates with bachelor’s degree in any discipline will be eligible to apply.
Age Limit: There will be no age limit criteria to apply for exam.
Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks in aggregate to apply.
Relaxation: Candidates with eligible marks (except English marks) will be given 5% relaxation.
Eligibility Medical: Qualified candidates will have to submit the Physical fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner.
IMU CET 2025 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode.
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in examination.
Duration: 3 hours will be given to solve the question paper.
Number of Questions: Total 120 questions will be asked in paper.
Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for every correct answer.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks of negative marking will be there for incorrect answer.
